New blog about 3-year-old’s AMA on Reddit will make your day
If you’re in need of a smile today, I’ve got just the thing for you. Meet 3-year-old Caleb, who has become an overnight sensation thanks to a Reddit thread posted by his dad.
This preschooler recently took part in an AMA (ask me anything) interview and absolutely killed it with his witty, adorable answers. Matthew Clark (Caleb’s dad) of Texas found the casualiama subreddit and knew right away his preschooler would be perfect for the challenge. “I’m pretty simple, but I knew Caleb would have some fun answers,” Clark told BuzzFeed. “Since he acts like he knows it all already, I figured a few people would get a kick out of his answers.” That’s how the magical thread, “I’m 3. I know everything. AMA” was born.
Before Clark knew it, the inquiries started pouring in. And so did Caleb’s charm.
One user asked, “What are your thoughts on naps?” to which Caleb replied, “Grapes.” (My thoughts, exactly.) Another person shared that he was having a hard time making his pasta olio eaglio recipe “pop.” It’s pretty difficult to argue with Caleb’s answer: “Some cake.” (A man after my own heart; cake makes everything better.) Here are a few other gems from this hilariously AMA session:
Q: “What would you do if you could do anything?”
Caleb: “Get some juice.”‘
Q: “What’s behind your eyes?
Caleb: “It’s just a spider.”
Q: “What is the meaning of life?”
Caleb: “You are.”
Q: “What is your biggest flaw?”
Caleb: “My butt.”
Q: “What are your opinions on America’s current political affairs?”
Caleb: “They’re superheros and they’re super bad guys.”

Q: “What’s the most complex thing you know?
Caleb: “An idea.”
Q: “What should I do for fun today?
Caleb: “Eat popcorn.”
Q: “How does the sun work?”
Caleb: “It take a nap.”

“I did not expect this impact but im so happy that my sons all knowing wisdom could make any of you smile even if just for a moment,” Clark wrote. “And the questions/responses have had both my wife and myself laughing and feeling fuzzy goodness.”

I love this little guy! To be honest, I expected the silly, typical 3-year-old responses — like “more cake” and “grapes.” But I was surprised by some of his deep answers. What’s the meaning of life? “You are.” MIND BLOWN. This little dude is going places. And if nothing else, he’s brought smiles to a whole lot of faces.
