Summer Infant Right Height Tub: Tubs made to fit into an adult-size bathtub can require a lot of bending and kneeling, which may be particularly hard on a postpartum body, especially if the mom in question had a c-section. Summer Infant makes the reach easier with this smart baby tub that basically rests on a stepstool to raise things up to a more comfortable height. Once your toddler’s outgrown the bath — she’ll top out at age 2 — the stepstool can be used as a tub-side seat for parents, or for children to climb on. (Summerinfant, $39.99)
5. Munchkin ComforTemp Infant Bather Baby Bath: Hate to stoop over a bath in the adult tub? The ComforTemp, which is designed to work on a countertop (or in the tub, if you want that), may be a good solution for you. Your baby sits securely in a seat, you pour clean water over her, and dirty water streams out the spout at your baby’s feet. (Target, $39.99)

Infantino Go Gaga Bubble Ball Bath Tub: Inflatable tubs are a terrific choice for newborns and littles, because the ultra-soft sides are cushy to rest against (no banged baby heads!), and the baths deflate quickly to a stores-small size. This bath comes with 10 floating balls to keep your baby happy, and it lasts a good long time — until your baby is 24 months old, or 30 pounds, whichever came first. (Target, $13.99)
